Calgary Market: Calgary Farmers' Market
The Calgary Farmers’ Market was founded by a non-profit association known as the ABC Farmer's Market Society. This group of dedicated members built the market from scratch and operated until April 2006 when it transitioned into a new generation co-op, Calgary Farmers’ Market NGC. While many of us live in Calgary, others have farms in BC and northern Alberta where we grow, raise, and make much of the product sold in the Market. Many are family run businesses and we come from as far afield as the east coast with fresh fish and seafood.
